Obscuring the record set by Carrie Underwood earlier this year, Lady Antebellum sold out 15 concert at the James Brown Arena this morning in 15 minutes.
Admired country act, which includes Augusta musicians Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, is playing Augusta as part of its first featuring tour.
The band’s latest album, Need You Now, has been certified double platinum and two singles, Need You Now and American Honey, topped the Billboard magazine country singles chart.
The sell out is the latest in a string of sold-out concerts at the James Brown Arena. Carrie Underwood, Tyler Perry and Jason Aldean were also sold out but just not in 15 minutes in James Brown Arena.
