Minnesota tornadoes Travel warnings - After Thursday's tornadoes in Minnesota, Minnesota Department of Transportation given caution for travel on many highways and roads in southern Minnesota. Officials say the driving conditions are dangerous and travel is not a preferable choice.
Minnesota tornadoes resulted three dead on Thursday. One person was killed on a farm outside of Albert Lea, another man was killed when a twister hit the Cenex station in Mentor, in northwest Minnesota and, authorities in Otter Tail County described a woman killed by a tornado in Almora.
